Not all the things are designed to be understood. There are many things that people don’t know, and probably never. Like, I don’t know whom I am married with. I don’t know whether I will spend my life with many things or die soon. I can’t see the bacteria living in my meal.
But I just am sure that those mysteries are beautiful. They are created to make life be more precious. Not to know who is the mate makes us keep on improving our selves. Not to know when we die makes life so valuable. Likewise not seeing the bacteria makes us stay with the meal.
About the companions of the cave as well. No one knows the certainty but arguing the number of them. They said there were three and the fourth was their dog, another said there were five and the sixth was their dog.
Say, [O Muhammad], “My Lord is most knowing of their number. None knows them except a few. So do not argue about them except with an obvious argument and do not inquire about them among [the speculators] from anyone. – QS 18:22
Well, life is a part of mystery. It is what it is.
How about a Night of Decree when it is better than a thousand months? Ah, I don’t know it pretty sure. It’s one of the most beautiful mysteries.
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. QS 97:3-5
PS: it is the last night of Ramadhan.
